In the heart of Puglia’s Copertino region, this 18 hectare estate is owned by consultant oenologist and master of negroamaro, Severino Garofano, in the winery the reds are going from strength to strength. The grapes are sourced from Azienda Monaci’s own 7 hectares of vineyard and also bought from growers, who have long term working contracts with Monaci, thereby totalling more than 30 hectares. The vines are from 10 to 30 years old and are trained in the local alberello (bush) style.
