The Chateau Tayac has Cru Bourgeois clarification it is located in the extreme north of the appellation Margaux, in the municipality of Soussans. The 37 hectares of its vineyards bask on beautiful gravelly hills well exposed to the sun. A family run business which is now building on the experience of four generations. The vineyards are managed by Guy Portet, and the wine making is managed by Nicolas Portet and oenologist Michel Bernard. They use 35% new oak for their wines.
