Domaine Désiré Petit ‘L’Essen’ciel’ Savagnin
The vineyard was established in 1932 by Désiré Petit. At first he planted just under 1.5 hectares on the Cote de Feule, In 1970, Gérard and Marcel, sons of Désiré, took over the business which at that time consisted of a little less than one and a half hectares of vines. But their love of the work and their motivation drove them to invest heavily in order to develop the domain. Over time the vineyard holdings were increased to encompass a wide variety of terroirs across the commune of Grozon.
The Domaine is now run by the third generation of the Petit family, Damien and Anne-Laure who manage a total of 25 hectares.
Located between Burgundy and Switzerland, in an area called the Revermont, the vineyards of Domaine Dsir Petit sit at an altitude of between 200 and 400 metres.
