The nose is fresh with some red fruits of the forest and sweet crushed cherries; liquorice, hints of tar and mixed spice. The palate has much more complexity than the average Beaujolais, with spice, black pepper and plum, as well as slight herbal or minty hints and lovely savoury grainy tannins.

Domaine Les Roches Bleues – Cote de Brouilly – Reserve des Vieilles Vignes
These grapes are taken from three precious hectares on the slopes of Mont Brouilly, where the vineyards are classified as Cote de Bouilly and whose hand-picked 50-year-old vines yield perceptibly finer wines.
We only have a few of these left in stock, this is a quality Beaujolais for not very much money.
