Sanvigilio Pinot Grigio
A really easy drinking, crowd pleasing wine – would be great with a touch of sunshine. Perfect with light starters, fish dishes, grilled chicken or as an aperitif.
Sanvigilio Pinot Grigio is produced in Oltrepo Pavese in the province of Pavia, Lombardy. The vines are cultivated on the hillsides at an altitude ranging from 200 to 400 m above sea level in a climate which features hot summers and cold winters with 600 to 900 mm of rainfall per year, concentrated mostly in late autumn and early spring. Grapes are harvested end of August/first week of September.
Grapes are soft pressed and the must cooled. The must is then fermented in stainless steel tanks at a temperature of 18 to 20 degrees C. It is left to develop briefly in stainless steel tanks before being bottled.
